Skip to 0 minutes and 3 seconds We’ve all seen pictures of the perfect setting for outdoor learning. It’s probably a sun drenched meadow. Rich and biodiverse, or a patch of ancient woodland. And in reality, the weather probably looks a bit better than this. But that is not realistic for most schools. In most schools we’re working with a tarmac playground or a playing field. However, to be an outdoor learning expert, you don’t need to have the perfect setting. That’s why we’ve created this course. Over the next four weeks, we aim to give you the confidence and the practical skills to make the outdoors a meaningful and consistent part of your teaching practice. ZSL has been supporting people to learn about animals and nature for the last 200 years.
