Welcome to Week 1! In this video, you will meet your course leaders Dr. Clemence Cavoli and Prof Peter Jones who will briefly introduce you to the course.

Context is critical! Although cities share common characteristics, policy decisions should not be made without a thorough examination of the context as strategies that work under specific circumstances, might not work under different conditions. Having said that, cities can learn from one another as most cities share some common characteristics.
