As a minimum requirement, you\u2019ll need to be educated to at least degree level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the UK, you&#8217;ll need either an <strong>undergraduate degree (BA or BSc) <\/strong>or a <strong>postgraduate degree in social work <\/strong>to find employment. If you choose to study a relevant undergraduate degree in social work, then you can become a qualified social worker at the end of your course \u2013 which is typically <strong>three to four years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those that have a degree in a different discipline, you&#8217;ll need to factor in the time it takes for you to complete a postgraduate degree in social work.
